Improper Queuing At Stadiums Can Have Major Consequences

8. March 2010 06:20

According to a recent article in the New Zealand Herald entitled Queuing fans Miss Best Part of McCullum's Display, due to improper queue management at AMI Stadium the majority of Rugby fans missed an amazing performance by superstar Brendon McCullum. According to Bryan Pearson CEO of VBase, company that manages AMI stadium they were also delayed in accommodating 4500 fans that wanted to buy tickets on site.

This issue could have easily been avoided with proper queue management by utilizing Lawrence Tensabarriers. With extra crowd control available spectators would have transitioned into the stadium quicker resulting in better service and quicker transaction time on the 4500 walk up fans.

This is a lesson learned to all stadium managers. With large sporting events coming up such as the 2010 World Cup and the NCAA BasketBall Tournament improper queue management will result in poor customer satisfaction and potential loss of revenue.
