Lawrence Electronic Queuing System increases efficiency at GlobalShop 2010

26. March 2010 06:51

This year’s biggest retail tradeshow was a major success for all involved with Lawrence and Tensator playing a major role in that success as official sponsor of the GlobalShop 2010 registration area.

Lawrence employed its latest generation SLQ 3000 Electronic Call Forward System to speed waiting queues for attendees at registration by efficiently directing them to the next available assistant.

The SLQ 3000 system has been proven to reduce wait times by up to 30% and customer walk-aways by 96%

Global Shop executives were delighted that attendees were moved through the registration process in a timely, organized manner as Tim Fearney, show director for Global Shop quotes, “the Lawrence system proved to be employee friendly and seamlessly revamped the registration process. Throughout our three-day event, I never saw lengthy lines forming which reduced headaches and saved us both time and money. I can understand how advanced queuing technologies can greatly improve efficiencies anywhere a line is forming.”
