GlobalShop 2011

GlobalShop is the world’s largest annual event expo and conference dedicated to retail design, visual merchandising, and shopper marketing - with over 10,000 attendees.  This week our team headed to Vegas for Global Shop 2011, where we exhibited alongside the retail industry’s leaders and innovators. 

We exhibit here each year in order to showcase our newest products and solutions - this year it was our SLQ3000 with Split Screen Capability, which was found not only at our exhibit, but was used by Freeman in the Registration Area as well.   Through the course of the expo, we meet with hundreds of retailers, some of whom we have long-standing relationships with, and some we are just getting to know.  In addition to customers, we use this time to connect with suppliers and members of the press.  This year, Bill Vetter, Senior Vice President, and General Manager of Lawrence, met with Sarah Killan, of Event Marketing Concepts, and her video production team– to share his Global Shop experience.   Keith Carpentier, our Senior Business Development Manager sat down with Patrycja Malinowska, Associate Editor of Content In-Store Marketing Institute, to discuss how Lawrence reduces customer walk-aways by up to 96%, increases impulse purchases by up to 400%, and creates new revenue streams from saleable media space.

Our team is happy to be back in New York, and we are excited about cultivating the new relationships we take home from the Sands Convention & Expo Center!
