Innovative technology to engage queuing customers is being showcased at one of the world’s biggest tech shows in Dubai from the 16th October.

The latest products from Tensator Group have been developed to create more engaging and interactive experiences for customers, ultimately helping retailers, and other customer service professionals to improve efficiency and increase revenue. A range of products will be on display at the Tensator Group stand (A4-23 in Hall 4) at GITEX, the third largest technology event in the world.

The first solution on display is InQ-TV®, an LCD screen mounted on a queuing platform that can broadcast a variety of targeted media messages to a captive audience of waiting shoppers.

Developed by Tensator Group in response to the growing demand from retailers to improve existing queuing environments, InQ-TV® has an ultra-wide panoramic 16:3 high definition display and stereo speakers. The InQ-TV® can share promotions, encourage impulse buys and also generate revenue from third party advertising.

Abdel Aziz Rahal, General Manager MEA at Tensator Group explains how, through the InQ-TV®, Tensator is aiming to create a more engaging and interactive experience for customers, to improve efficiency and increase revenue for retailers.

“The InQ-TV® is particularly innovative as a store or brand can play its own message at any time. There’s a fantastic opportunity to generate revenue streams, increase brand presence in the queue, and encourage impulse purchases too – all the while making the queuing experience more enjoyable.”

Tensator Group will also be showcasing a number of products from its technology partner Newvision. These include the “Vision” solution, a small footprint device which, when integrated in a wall or countertop, engages queuing customers through promotional videos.

Another innovation on display is the Proxima, the next generation of customisable queuing kiosks. Featuring a modern and engaging design, combined with high-quality multimedia content support, it sets the tone for the whole customer experience at a premium level.

The KIO Edge service kiosk will also be on display, which delivers useful information and allows direct purchase of services and products with advanced customer identification capabilities. Finally, Tensator Group will also be showcasing the new INLINE management suite, a web-portal platform that combines operational, marketing and analytics features for all of the above products and solutions.
