Develop a strategy to underpin the growth of profitable sales in Tensator’s service/maintenance and installation operations.
Work with UK Sales to drive sales of service and maintenance contracts to key customers.
To develop a network of subcontractors geographically located throughout the UK to carry out all Tensator Ltd’s service/maintenance and installation contracts.
Complete responsibility for all service/maintenance and installation work from receipt of sales order to client sign off.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participate or, where appropriate, lead in the generation of the profitable sales of service/maintenance contracts to key customers
- Develop a network of subcontractors geographically for all Tensator Ltd.’s service/maintenance contracts and installations
- Assist and advise in the development and provision of technical service support networks for Tensator’s overseas subsidiary companies and distributors
- Fully manage subcontractors, inclusive of all training requirements
- Liaison with site contacts
- Project management for all roll out programs, which require installation
- Price negotiation
- Liaison with internal sales
- Monthly reporting for cost analysis and delivery performance
- Site surveys and specification for installations
- Develop call out procedures for all service/maintenance contracts
- Lead and participate in site installation activities as necessary, including both construction sites under CDM regulations and non-construction site environments.
- Liaise with site contacts and attend pre-installation site meetings for larger projects typically within the Airport environment as required.

Experience/Qualifications required:
- 5-10 years within a similar contract’s role
- Sales experience of service/maintenance agreements
- Experience of outsourcing for service/maintenance agreements
- Project management experience
- Communication with customer/site contacts
- Knowledge of on-site H&S requirements
- Ability to read and understand site drawings
- CITB certified
- Clean Driving licence
- PC skills (Microsoft Office, MS Excel)
