We can think of better ways to spend 10 days

At Tensator, we are constantly thinking about and engaged with queuing, and it seems that we are not the only ones.

Recent research has revealed that Britons spend an average of 10 days every single year waiting in a queue. This figure includes standing in line at a shop, waiting for a bus or train, and even waiting on the end of a phone as you navigate an automated answering system.

Breaking the research down, it seems that the retail and transport sectors are the worst offenders, equating to 13 and 10 hours of our time respectively.

It seems to us that there are either some companies out there that are seriously in need of our queue management advice or the old theory is true and the British really do have a love of queuing.
