Midnight queues for Call of Duty: Black Ops Gamers

Tens of thousands of video game fans queued up at midnight to be among the first to get their hands on a copy of Call of Duty: Black Ops.

The hotly-anticipated Call of Duty: Black Ops went on sale at midnight at hundreds of stores across the country, with many retailers seeing queues of eager purchasers form outside the door 12 hours before the release time!

The 18-rated commando game is expected to become the fastest and biggest-selling title in history with well over one million sales in the first week alone.

In the U.S. thousands of excited gamers queued up outside more than 4,000 outlets of GameStop, the world’s biggest video game retailer, to be among the first to get hold of the new title.

While in the UK and Ireland, GAME and HMV opened hundreds of stores at midnight to allow computer game fans the chance to get their hands on it as soon as possible.
